Evercreech New

Evercreech New was a layout the club ‘inherited’ when a local club closed and its remaining members joined SMRS. Based upon the station on the Somerset & Dorset railway, the layout needed a lot of TLC. In the end nearly all the based boards were completely rebuilt, after which the layout could then be completed.

Once complete it did attend a small number of exhibitions, including Warley Model Railway Exhibition at the NEC.

Its simple track layout did make operation rather tedious.

It was later sold, its where abouts is unknown.
