Romsey & Halterworth

Romsey & Halterworth is an exhibition layout with full operational signalling.
It won Best In Show award by public vote at Fareham RailEx 2024.
The layout represents the station, signal boxes and junction in the mid-70s to 80s period. Visitors can operate the signals and the signal box levers, as it is designed to be an interactive display at exhibitions. The operation of the signalling is explained in clear and simple terms. Many other operational features such as a working rail crane, adds interest. The layout appeals to rail enthusiasts as well as families at shows.
All structures, signals and rolling stock items are built from from individual Lego bricks to my own designs.
