Seaton Junction

Following the sale of our Ackthorpe layout, we decided to return to our ‘routes’ and build a southern themed layout again. Seaton Junction was decided upon. It offered a lot of scope for operation, with a branch line, a large milk depot, adjacent sidings plus the opportunity to see express trains racing through on the fast tracks while stopping trains pause in the platforms.
It offers the prospect of a very visual and interesting exhibition layout
Currently (Oct 2024) all tack has been laid and wired up, scenery partially complete and focus is now being concentrated upon the station buildings and milk depot etc.
